I am just writing to let u kno that I am not a big fan on reading but when I heard about this books I said I will read them, maybe not liking them. But I read the first one and when I was reading is was boring until I got to chapter 7 then it got me to really not wanting to put it down for nothing. Got done reading that one I was so ready for the second book which i had to wait for but it was worth it. Just as i was finishing that one my friend hadnt started the third book so i went out and bought it. Thank god I did because that was really good and I didnt want to put it down. I wish there was another one talking about Christian and Ana as parents and there children growing up and with 50 shades. I am telling all my friends about it even people I dont kno I am like you should read this book cause it is good. I blush just talking about it. Please write another about them being parents. I hope u do as I will be looking for more about the Greys, ok all the Greys just not Christian and Ana. LOVE THE BOOKS. THANKS KEEP UP THE GOOD WRITING
Cat Grey… I wish!
I totally agree with JenniMayer, Christian Bale would be perfect. He is exactly what I imagine as I was reading, he’s got that ‘in control’ look and he is so hot he can get away with it!
I read all 3 books in 8 days. Please keep writing until then i will start over and read them again…. I can’t wait for this movie and I really hope they find the perfect Christian Grey… My vote is for Christian Bale…
Emma Rossum as Ana along side Alexander Skarsgard as Christian (only remembered him as Eric).
I have read the series twice. Again I am at a loss, I miss Christian & ana so much. I can’t possibly read it again…can I? At some point i must give it up and move on…shouldn’t I? Please you need to give more. Maybe let Christian explain how it all began, but I don’t know if that would work, because there would be no Ana. What are we to do!!!
Oh and I have read “Bare to you” or someting like that. Have no fear, it can’t touch your Fifty Shades. Actually, in my opinion, she is trying way to hard at coying Fifty Shades….ain’t gonna happen. I don’t think any one could come close to making a series or even one book that could be better than Fifty Shades of Grey. My god, I miss him so much I think I am depressed.
Please don’tlet them leave too much out of the movie, that is in the book and don’t let them make too many changes. Also, Eric from “True Blood” would make a good Christian.
I just finished listening to book one. I thought it was very well written. I was transported into the characters at least Anna. I was crying with the end of this book. I feel both Christians & Anna pain. I can’t wait to listen to the second & third book to find out if they finally get back together. They belong together….
You deserve to be #1. I could not put these down. I’ve read them twice. I loved everything about the story. Great job I absolutley love Christian and Ana’s honesty throughout the books. The treat was the last chapter from his point of view.
I have read the Fifty Shades Trilogy seven times. Each time I read it, I learn something new about Christian and Ana and about myself. This trilogy is not about sex. It is about light and dark meeting to make gray – or rather Grey. The maturity and growth of the main characters makes it cathartic, healing and ironic for me.
I would like to see Matt Bomer (Magic Mike) to play the part as Christian. It’s hard to make a choice as the character Anastasia. She should be able to bite her lower lip and be taciturn, but when she speaks, she better know how to deliver the message or the point will be lost.
I just hope EL Jame is continuing the rewrite the trilogy from Christian’s perspective as she did in the final part of Freed.
Henry Cavill is perfect for the part of Christian. Ashley Greene for the part of Anastasia.
Wow!, I have not read books in years. My job does not allow me the hours to get my household duties completed, moreless get into reading. After listening to all the hoopla about Fifty Shades, I just had to download it from Amazon so I could read whenever I had a few minutes. Well, with my very busy scheudle, I finished all three books in 3 weeks and started to read them again. I truely enjoyed every second. Could not stop reading. Even if it was just a few sentences at a traffic light, I had to get every moment of reading in that I could. Thanks for the journey and I hope you continue with their story. I am hoping this continues for many more books to come. Great writing!!!!!
I just finished all three books, I love Christian and Ana story. I can not get enough of them. where you left off… you can easy pick it up and add maybe two more books to the serie. I am hook I want more of the Grey’s
Just loved this trilogy. Feeling a little bit empty now that I have no more to read…. hoping there is book 4 in the works….
i have read all 3 books in 3 days cannot put them down the love story is brilliant the relationship they have the way he talks 2 her wants 2 protect her is brilliant plz plz plz do another book about ana and mr grey
i feel so lost without reading them they have taken over my life im going 2 read them again when i get them back i have told everyone about them so i have lent my copies out
these are the first books i have read and i hope they not my last
well done EL JAMES
My heart aches. I tried to delay reading the last 5 chapters but had to press on like a child ignoring the call of her mother to come to dinner. I have a pit in my stomach wondering when I will be able to read more about Ana and Christian. Could I find the same solace and intrigue with any other couple? I want to be Ana – if only for a day…snap out of it. Please write more Ms. James! I am lost without these characters and now I have to go to bed at my normal time with no good excuse to be awake at 3am. I am despondent, I will have to start over again, please to know I am not the only one. Until the next…
I must say that I am blown away with the connection I made reading this trilogy. I could NOT put them down…The entire story line sucked me in from start to finish and sat me front row center and I watched… it all played out like a movie in front of me. I left reality. “I had it Bad”…I took “Darker” with me to Girls Night Out.. while they sat and sipped on drinks.. I was LOST in Christian Grey’s world ( At the Table)… Oh! My! Goodness… this man is soooo FINE and SEXY..all I could tell them was Christian Grey is THE FULL PACKAGE.. I love it… Thank you sooo much for allowing me to escape from the SADNESS I was living in ( my father passed on April 7, 2012) and I was sooo withdrawn from everything… till Mr.Grey came along. I started reading June 20th 2012… I finished the Trilogy July 1, 2012. EL James you really pulled me out of the darkness… I cant wait to see whats next… Baited and Waiting with Grattitude…
Later’s…Lo X
I LOVED LOVED all 3 books. Read them in 1 week. If by chance you decide to do a movie…Alexander Skarsgard would make a mighty fine Christian Grey
What a FANTASTIC Trigoly, I do not read books & i have never finished a book ever, but i have read Fifty Shades Trilogy in a week – hats off to Mrs James you are fantastic & i will endevour to read more of your books, you kept me wanting more & more, I also work & have two small children, I also found myself up until the small hours of the morning reading these books, I loved all of them & I cannot wait to read more about Mr & Mrs Grey… Thank You so much for making me interested in actually even picking up a book

Have told all my friends about them & who have finished & are reading them @ the moment love them to . Have read that you are thinking of writing them again in Christian version . Please do so . Would be very interesting to see his perspective . Hopefully you do so & soon . Thank you xx
I just have to say that I have fallen in LOVE with these books. I have gotten countless other people to read them and they are just as obsessed as I am. I really hope that she writes all three books from Christians point of view! I want that so bad. She had to have put that end of Freed in there for a reason. I have read them 5 times and I have started on the 6th time and I still laugh and cry like its the first time reading them. I really really want Christians point of view and then after that more and more on Christian and Ana. I really hope that she continues to write about them. To E.L. James- If you read any of these, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write ALL three books in Christian’s point of view!!! Totoally obsessed with the world of 50 Shades….Thank you!!
I have finished all 3 books in less than a week. I love the books.I hope there are more to come. I would love to read more about Christian and Ana. I have stayed up late reading them and every chance I had I would read them and now that I am finished with I keep thanking about them. The story was wonderful. It had everything in it. PLEASE come out with another book on them. You are a very talented writer.
I was bereft when I finished ‘Freed’. It’s been 36 hrs and I am at a loss as to what to do with myself. I miss Christian and Ana so much – Please let there be more. I gave my girlfriend the first book in and it lay in her drawer for a fortnight – can you believe that. She eventually read it in a few days, up at night, sound familiar ladies? she txt me today begging for the other two books. I am now re-reading Fifty Shades from the beginning. I am a hairdresser and every client from 15 upwards (67 was the last age given) is talking about this phenomenon, way to go. Looking forward to future novels of the same ilk.xxxx

Thank you, thank you for such a GREAT!!! Read,, The last time i was this passionate about a book series was with Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight…. My office and I are planning to re-read again…
I love this books!!! I think Jesse Metcalfe should play Christian Grey and Jessica Love Hewitt should play Ana in the movie. They would be awesome together.
Fabulous read! Great love story! Like everyone else, I could not put these books down. Am on my second reading as well. Ms. James ~ you have a wonderful gift of story telling and an awesome ability to capture your readers’ attention and hold it!
For the past four days these books have took over my life. I have totally been obsessed, intrigued and infatuated by them. I have laughed, cried, amongst other things….that I’m sure everyone who has read them has experienced. I was absolutely gutted when I finished Freed.
Please bring back Ana and Christian…..I am now a Darkerholic and my desires to once again be part of this fiction/fantasy world need addressing.
i know the feeling
I to have read all three at least two times. I could not put them down. Is this the end for christian and ana or is there more to come? I would love to hear more from his point of view. Sad there was only three, I need more………
I’ve just finished these wonderful books. I have never read anything so powerfully written. You are a magnificent author please keep writing. Looking forward to your next book.
I have read the books and had countless sleepless nights because I just couldn’t put the books down. I have have smiled, cried,my heart pounded, I was excited & furious at times. I have never read anything that has practically made me think I was Ana. I know that may sound crazy but its true. Thank you for such gratifying Trilogy. I am looking forward to your next story.
I have fallen in love with Anna and Christian. Such a great story, and could not put it down. About to start reading again, and when I listened to some of the soundtrack my heart was taken back and truely touched again by the story of their different lives and growing emotions and confussion…The quick glimps into Christain at the end has certainly boosted my anticipation and hopes for the rewrite from his point of veiw…as I am sure it did most of your fans…begging and pleading please do a rewrite and do it soon….waiting with great anticipation..rsumrall68 X
My coworkers decided to do a book club and we have so much fun. There is so much laughter in the office! We are like little kids talking quietly and in secret. Two of them finished reading the first book in two nights. Out of control!
Love love love the books! I have read twice! Would love to see more on the Grey family as well. Heard rumors it will be made into a movie and I despratley hope not! Love my imaginary Ana and Christian! Keep up the fab work I can not wait to read more!
I love these books I hope and wish there will be more about the grays in your upcoming books….I just fell in love and want more.
Wow…what an amazing read! I was consumed in Christian’s and Ana’s world and loved every titillating, hilarious, suspenseful, and painfully truthful moments. This book had me feeling a little naughty by stealing moments throughout the day to gorge on each and every word that this author has graced us with. Just amazing. I do hope the rumor is true that the author will pin another trilogy from Christian’s perspective. I am sure that I will devour that one as well. Bravo!
I am re-reading the Fifty Shades trilogy and I am so interested in knowing more of Christian’s point of view. I would love to hear his sessions with Dr. Flynn. Just like all the other comments, I am loving these books! I am enjoying them just as much the second time reading them. What a powerful story of unconditional love! I hope to read more about the Grey’s soon! Thanks, E L James
I started the trilogy two weeks ago and now I am on the third book. I haven’t read a book in over 20 years. I am so glad I started your books. You have set the standard to my reading now. I cannot wait for your other books. Thank you for such good writing. I have to admit that I have my own Fifty Shades guy! But still lovin Christian Grey! Keep them coming.
I have absolutely LOVED the books….could do with a LITTLE less sex tho! With that being said…the e-mails are absolutely my FAVORITE! lol I found myself litterally laughing out loud…embarrassing myself! lol I can’t wait for your next book…wether it be about Christian and Ana or a different story all together. Your writing is absolutely awesome! You say exactly what someone would say in a given situation! Thank you!
I’ve finished all 3 books since Thursday would love to hear more from Christian’s view. i don’t think I’ve ever cried to a book before and i cried at least once during each amazing series please write more

I look forward t to your next reads and hope that i have the same reaction, I would totally love to read the other side of the story (plz say this will be your next release) i would read again just to know to see what Christian was thinking, I’m hoping that’s what the last line in your book meant or means…………………………..

Hi I’m writing from Milan, Italy. Your 50 shades of grey came out last friday and I already read it. Fantastic, I soon went to the web searching for an excerpt of the second and read it (first chapter), the 2. comes out here on 26th june and I’m looking for reading it. I loved the book, maybe you are on the same plane with lisa kleypas, who is my favorite fiction writer with her smooth talking stranger, I simply love her. Hope to know soon about your next project. Thanks for writing these books. Really. Lavinia
I’ve read the trilogy 3 times already, and so does my friend who fell in love with the trilogy as well. We laughed and cried over and over again. And we keep falling in love with Christian with every page. I can’t wait for the new story you’re working on! I hope it would be as satisfying as the Fifty Shades Trilogy.
Am sending great thanks here from Melbourne, Australia, what a fantastic writer you are congratulations. The only thing is i need to read more with Christian and Ana. I read these books in 4 days, my husband got abit jealous as i have not stopped harping on about Christian, i think i have given him a complex. Please keep them coming i cannot wait and Thank you.

I absolutly Love the Books, What a STORY!! I too could not put down the books and up everynight until 2-3 in the morning, I work 6 days a week 10 hours a day, and still managed to read all 3 in 2 weeks. Once i started reading them, it was like a drug… i just couldn’t stop! I have started readying them again, it’s like an obsession I can’t help. I really hope that there are more books written soon. The Best Author ever, she has a gift to keep you reading and wanting more….and more!
My sentiments exactly! I just finished reading all 3 for the 2nd time. I NEVER re-read books! Ms. James you are a fantastic writer. The story just floated me along into the beautiful relationship of Ana & Christian. I am 70 yrs old and wish you had been published when I was a young bride of 20!!! It might have been very different for my husband and I!
I look forward to more!!!
Okay, well I’m relieved to know I’m not the only one so deeply effected by this story. I was beginning to think I was losing it. I finished the books in less than a week, and am now in “Freed” for the eighth time! Every time I finish, I think I’m ready to move on, but I just can’t bring myself to leave Christian and Ana and their beautiful journey together. It appears there’s no end in sight, at least for now. Fifty is my distraction of choice for the foreseeable future!
The best books I have read in a long time. Great storyline and wonderful characters. I hope to see more about Christian and Ana! I highly recommend these books!
I couldn’t put them down! I finished them all in less than a week and I’m starting over from book one. You have spoiled me for other authors. Please keep writing!
