Thank you for a great trilogy. I have read many different Authors and after reading your books I can’t seem to read any of them. Keep thinking the characters need to read Fifty Shades of Grey. Looking forward to your next book.

  2. avatar lanny23 says:

I agree with all of the comments, i truly love the characters and the love story, it is definately addictive. I would really like the story to continue especially from christians perspective the small chapter at the end of book three was fab, cant wait for more from this author. I have read and re-read them over and over.

  3. avatar just2good says:

I absolutely LOVED these books!!! Please give us more! A work associate suggested I read this book and I wasn’t going to initially and BOY am I happy that I did! I felt like a little kid sneaking to read when I wasn’t supposed to be reading. I couldn’t put it down, I needed to know what was going to happen next!

  4. avatar anne says:

Oh my what to do now? I want more to read, this was exciting, and through all three fabulous books kept me wanting more. when will we have more I love these characters?

  5. avatar roses says:

Thanks for awakening my libido again. I am post menopausal and find myself stimulated. my suggestion for who should play Christian in the movie is Alex Pettyfer. He looks fabulous in a suit or out of one. lol

  6. avatar sam says:

As I read all these comments I can’t help but laugh, because I feel the same way! I can’t get the story or the characters out of my head! I can’t stress enough what a wonderful writer you are!!!

  7. avatar V.Chinel says:

I am new to the 50 Shades series. I just started the 3rd book and I’m a little sad because there isn’t a 4th. For years I have been trying join a book club, or start one, but this series has me over the top. Which is why I’ve gone searching online for a group of 50 Shades fans. I really want to have a full blown discussion about Christian & Ana who I love and can’t wait to read every day. I agree with all others…write a 4th book from Christian’s prospective.

  8. avatar pdaniels78 says:

I too would love to read all three from Christian’s point of view.

  9. avatar Aimee Killey says:

I read all 3 books and now I’m sad there done. Please write more (at least one more)books about Fifty and Ana!! I hope Hollywood does NOT try to make these books in to movies. There isn’t an actor or actress that could really do these characters justice, they written to perfectly! I can not wait to read more of your books, hopefully we won’t have to wait too long:)Thank you E L James for giving us these books!

  10. avatar sriggs20 says:

I finished the Trilogy last night and I’m already missing Mr. and Mrs. Grey. I find myself rereading parts of the book because I was excited about what was happening that I skimmed over to get to the good part! I have laughed, cried, smiled, blushed, gasped and had my husband tell me to “hush”, with a smile of course. :) Now, I’m starting with Shades again, knowing what I know now.
Yes, I too want to know more about the “holes” in Fifty’s past and what the Grey family’s future holds, so another book would be fabulous. It’s a great love story, but I also learned some things that cleared up some fog about my own love story. I adore my husband and see a teeny bit of Fifty in him.
Thank you, EL James for sharing Ana and Fifty with me.

  11. avatar Michele says:

I just want to say I love Fifty shades trilogy and can’t wait to read more about his thoughts….. Keep it coming…. Love love love….

  12. avatar Bianca says:

I was totally engrossed in the Shades trilogy it’s like nothing I’ve read before. I agree with previous comments about writing from Christian’s point of view. Please please come to Australia for a tour…..oh and bring Christian Grey with you!!!

  13. avatar Chanty says:

Please write about Grey’s point of view.. Always hungry for information, about Mr. Grey and Mrs. Grey!

  14. avatar julb says:

Obsessed…yes. From the very beginning. Now I have read all three and feel lost wanting more. I agree, please continue their story. This has been one of the most amazing love stories I have ever read. The transformation that took place in Christian Grey filled me with so much emotion. I loved these books!!

  15. avatar juliette says:

This book really got into my head. I finished the last book yesterday and wept because it’s over. No book has ever done this to me before. The character Christian came so far with the love of Anastasia. I cheer for their family and hope to read more about them.

  16. avatar Ashlei says:

Everyone I’ve talked to who has read this trilogy is dying for you to finish writing from Christians perspective….please quit teasing us and tell us your working on it…….please please please

  17. avatar crobin says:

Please tell the whole story from Fifty’s perpective….you could make a ton with preorders alone.

For the upcoming film, please watch “”The Good Wife” and try to convince Ridley Scott to be involved. He does a great job with women and knows how to depict longing and passion graphically without it actually being graphic. Watch Kalinda’s character….also sign up Ryan Gosling if you want it to be well received critically. Also like Ian….

  18. avatar betty_bucket says:

As it says on the back of the books…the 50 Shades trilogy will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.
l think its very true…l finished reading the books in a week 3 weeks ago and l am still missing them, l have never felt like this. l am pleased to see though that lm not the only one…l have lent my copies to a friend but as soon as l get them back l am going to re-read them. So please write another book, continue their story…and most of all Thank you xox

  19. avatar Jengee81 says:

AMAZING! !! I am not the type to sit and read a book, but I received 50 shades as a gift from a friend. Once I started I did not put it down. I am now done with all 3 !! You are a wonderful writers and I can’t wait to read more of your work. My vote is for CHRYSTAL REED for Anastasia and DAVID BECKHAM for Christian in the movie!!!
    .

  20. avatar mandie says:

I dont really read books it get bored of them so never really bother but id heard so many ppl talking about these books a had to get them and see what the big fuss was about,im not half way thru the second book and only had the books 2 days haha i just cant put them down. thank you for getting me hooked into reading again x

  21. avatar lredes says:

I read all 3 books in one week. I didn’t get much sleep. Now I want to know what Christian was thnking please write another book from his thoughts.

  22. avatar nicno1622 says:

I love love these books … I’m continuing finding myself going back and re-reading these books over and over again. I’m hoping and praying E L James writes about Christian’s point of view especially knowing how he felt when Ana left in .

  23. avatar mary rizos says:

My goodness, i love reading but these books were fantastic. I read them in 4 days. My boss was asking me why i looked so tired, little did she know i was up till all hours of the morning reading. I am begging you, please continue with writing books with Christian and Anastasia, i want to read more. Have never read anything like it. I actually feel down and bored as i wish the story kept going. You are amazing and keep writing. Thank you xx

  24. avatar Jo says:

-Not ready for the story to end.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Sweet and sexy – what a great love story. I read the first book in 5 days, the second in 2! I’m am so wrapped up in the story and with the characters, Christian and his beloved Ana, that I’m actually reading book three slowly because I don’t want the story to end! Needless to say, I love the books. Will there be a book four, please.

  25. avatar bassyboy says:

All I can say is you wrote an amazing and remarkable love story with fabulous characters, while I was reading your novels a song came on the radio it is called ” Gravity” which is sung by Sara Bareilles, this song would really suit this book should it become a movie… Well done EL James…

  26. avatar izzydog2 says:

I wasn’t going to read Fifty Shades because quite frankly all the talk surrounding these books was just getting on my nerves. I broke down five days ago and wow, i have now read all three and can not get my mind off them. Thank you for the wonderful, intense and sexy love story. Please continue the story from fifty’s perspective. I am left wanting more.

  27. avatar Jia-Li says:

OMG!!! This novel was absolutely addicting…. I too have serious withdrawal… Very much looking forward to the Cliffhanger of Christian’s side of the story… Absolutely Breathtaking Love Story with some Kinky F—— on the side :D

  28. avatar Sam says:

Well I finished all 3 books in less than a week and now I feel depressed that its over:( I downloaded the kindle app on my iPhone so i was reading them everywhere I went. I really hope that you continue writing stores on Ana and Christians love story..i loved the excerpt at the end. I was hoping for maybe a series on Mr.Taylor and how he started working for Christian and what his thoughts were about his lifestyle. Also, his relationship with ms.Jones and his daughter Sophie. I look forward to reading more books from you. :)

  29. avatar tynelson24 says:

I real all three and I loved them!! Wonderful touching love story. I do hope another book is written to let us know how Ana and Christian and Teddy are doing. ( and the baby on the way :) )

  30. avatar tgsaidit says:

Wow! I finished all three books in 4 days. Now its three days later and
I still can’t get the characters (mostly Christian) out of my head.
Nice to see I’m not the only one going through withdrawal lol. Please don’t let
It end here. The excerpt at the end from Christian was delightful and left me
completely on edge. Can’t wait to see the movie! Thanks for writing
    such an incredible love story.

YOU ARE RIGHT I CANT GET THIS BOOKS OF MY HEAD I KEEP ON GOING BACK AND READ THE BOOKS AGIAN I WANT THIS LOVE STORY TO CONT.

    • avatar kameron says:

Oh my gosh!!! I read them in 3 days…the lack of sleep, since i read after the kids went to bed, was SOOOO worth it!!!

I do not think that I can imagine reading another book as good, as intense, as just plain incredible as what you have written!

      Please please write more!

  31. avatar seg1220 says:

I am in love with these books, I want to play Ana Steele!! Hope to hear you are writing them from Mr. Grey’s perspective after the last chapter, I need more!

    • avatar knstelly35 says:

  32. avatar LMD16 says:

I have just finished just reading the Fifty Shades trilogy and just have to say I loved, loved, loved it. As noted by other bloggers I too read them all in a week around my husband, 2yr old, work and the house work (slightly forgotten lol). Your story completely blew me away. So captivating. I am now left wanting more of Christian Grey and Ana. I wish there were more books to continue. Job well done :) I look forward to more of your work (hopefully more of Fifty Shades – One could only hope). I have recently read online a movie of the Fifty shades has been discussed and thought the following actors would be perfect; Josh Bowman as Christian (he’s certainly got the body and perfectly structured face as decribed in the trilogy), or Ryan Gosling (2nd choice) for Christian. Then Emma Stone for Anastasia Steele. Chris Hemsworth or even Ryan Gosling as Elliot Grey. Anyway just a thought :) Look forward to finding out whats next. Thank you for such a wonderful story……….. I am left tempted to read all 3 books again :)

  33. avatar annie says:

would love to know if you was going to be in arizona your books are great so many feelings action, and prefection, were have you been hiding these thoughts thank you for writing them

  34. avatar cjreolle says:

I also saw a photo today of Christian bale and Natalie portman and I think they would make a wonderful chrisian and Ana.Thank you so much for the wonderful writing I look forwaed to more.

  35. avatar cardiny says:

Words escape me, what a wonderful Love Story. It truly has everything one could only hope for in “real” life. I love the way you showed how important it is to truly be loved by someone “unconditionally” and more important how to love yourself and believe that you are worthy of love. I believe that was Christian’s problem, he had not experienced true love, because he felt he didn’t deserve it and/or wasn’t worthy. For me this story is a lesson of the importance of trust and unconditional love, control just a state of mind and false most of the time. I thoroughly enjoyed the Trilogy; I just wonder if “all” of this story is actually a fiction of your imagination. My hat goes off to you and looking forward to your next writings. :)

  36. avatar j0nathan0livia says:

This trilogy was fabulous. I must be honest and I say I am not a reader of anykind (cannot even get through a full magazine because of my Adult ADHD and I must say I could not put these books down….I finished the last book yesterday and was wanting more…especially from Christian’s side like the last chapter……it was exciting to read his feelings on first meeting Ana……like many of the other post/comments…..the trilogy retold from Christian’s perspective would be wonderfull….this story was so passionate and beautiful…it really touched me. Looking forward to a movie and more books continuing Christian and Ana’s beautiful romance….Thank You
EL James! thanks you for a beautiful story that touched the lives of many around the world! :)

  37. avatar glorimar says:

I absolutely love it I would really love if you could continue writing about them. I would love to know how christian acts towards his daughter and how his life ends up. Please continue with the trilogy ;-) . I can’t wait for the movie as well. Please come to Florida I would love to go to a reading.

  38. avatar tripletmom456 says:

  39. avatar mizeandrea says:

    • avatar sam says:

That is so funny — me too! I’m not a reader, but I couldn’t put the books down. One night I was up until 5 am reading. I can’t wait for another book!!!! I too hope it’s Christian’s point of view. At the verge of sounding a little crazy — I’ve started reading them again!!!!!

      • avatar sm5258 says:

haha so have I…my husband works nights so I have been up everynight reading and spend as much of the day as I can reading. I am on the last book for the second time and am dreading reaching the end.

    • Me too– read all three in 4 days and I am lostt now. Would love MORE you’ve inspired me. Movie x 3 would be awesome. Please hurry with some more. I like the C.G. side of the story idea too.

      • avatar MissLAGray says:

I am truly gutted I have finished all the books too, only got them on Friday and although slightly tired with lack of sleep due to not being able to put them down, I feel so depressed its all over! Please let there be “more”.

        • avatar Brneyes065 says:

LOL I am the say, I finished all three and I swear I’m in mourning. I can’t even start a new book because I have Ana and Christian still in my head..

      • avatar ritzrita says:

I read them twice. Caught things when reading the second time that I did not realize on the first reading.

  40. avatar vancollins30 says:

I so loved these books…I read all three in a week!!!! PLEASE write from Christian’s point of few.

  41. avatar artistgirl says:

Generally, I read non-fiction, the rare novel, and never romance stories. Due to the hype over this trilogy, I downloaded them onto my Kindle, and read them in one week. Utterly amazing, but I’m certain it’s ruined forever my ability to read any romance not involving Christian and Ana. And, I have to say, this book has inspired me to once again pick up a couple of classics, long ago read, that were mentioned in the books. Well developed characters, romance, great sex, a nail biter at times, and just one of those stories you cannot put down. LOVED IT!!

  42. avatar mhacker123 says:

I loved loved loved these books. I am not a big reader, but when I started these… I just could not put them down. I want to see more to this story. I hope you come out with another one.. Thank you so much for the enjoyment of these books… GREAT JOB!!!!!

  43. avatar Maria says:

Your books are remarkable! Love Christian and Ana and hope you will write more stories with them. Hope you come to Saratoga Springs, NY for the tour! Thank you for writing this trilogy!!!

  44. avatar evejoli says:

OMG, I so need you to finish meeting fifty shades! I am as obsessed with the story as Fifty was with Ana. I see that it says you are working on another love story and I am sure it will be good but I feel like we were left hanging with that little bit. I am waiting and hoping that you will let us see a little more of Fifty and his beloved ANA.

  45. avatar grey2012 says:

    You should come to Arizona

  46. avatar mecomputerjunkie says:

Would love for you to come to beautiful Destin,Florida for book signing..you will have MANY MANY to do :-)

  47. avatar fruitloop56 says:

These books are amazing. What a tremendous love story. I was hoping also that you would write another book with Ana and Christian. My friends and myself feel like we are left hanging and would to know how the Grey’s are doing. Thank you for these books. You are truly a gifted writer.

    • avatar Shayla says:

I am so on board with what you are saying; you want to know how they are doing as their family grows. I miss reading these books! I read all three in a month, which is unusual for me!
      So…please write more!!!!

    • avatar sm5258 says:

I agree the story can continue. I do feel the last book reads a bit rushed and could have been split in two with a little more details. I have read and re-read all three books within the last couple of weeks and feel like I am left hanging, and like I have lost a friend.

  48. avatar jmgordon8 says:

    Thank you!

  49. avatar sl027 says:

Thank u for writing these books I look forward to reading more from u I was also hoping you would write another book with mr grey :)

  50. avatar Beth says:

Will you be coming to the Cleveland area anytime soon?

    • avatar dolly says:

I really love these books just cant put it down.wish you would make a book four.

      • avatar seven shades of sunday says:

yes I would love a book four. or keep writing more on christain thought on Ana…. Craving it.

        • avatar debbie3238 says:

i totally agree with seven shades of sunday, I hope that there will be a book 4, i read the three books in one week and thoroughly enjoyed them, i was sad when i finished them and was hoping that book 4 would continue on the limits that Ana and Christian would go to with their love making…..pls write more on Ana and Christian, i just love these books :)

          • avatar Colleen Keck says:

I am with you on this , I have re read them 2 times I cant get enough would love to have some of them items like the cd of music, shirts any thing from the books and cant wait for the movie.I love them both Christian and Ana…We want to see more please, when I read them it feels like I’m right there, it has brought something out in me,one thing is emotions , second is love story that i never thought would make me feel this way please dont take this wrong but it will stay with me fr the rest of my life….Keep it coming EL JAMES your the best….

    • avatar TWILLIAMS says:

Someone mentioned Armie Hammer And Derek Theler to play the part of Christian. I looked up both men and the best one would be Armie Hammer. I also thought about who should play Ana. What about Katie Holmes. She has blue eyes, long hair and is very sexy. I think she would make a great fit. I read all three books and finished a couple of days ago. I still can’t get over the great sense of loss at not being in their world. I guess I will just have to read them again. I am buying a set for my husband so that we can share the experience.

      • avatar joline says:

i totally disagree i thnk robert pattinson and kristen stewart would suit and im not a twilight fan but can u just picture it perfect. and yes plaese write a fourth book.

      • avatar tamalee9s says:

Ok I know that this is probably not going to be the most popular selection…but PLEASE think about John Mayer in the role. While we all know he isnt an actor…someone fresh is needed for the role and he would appeal to both 20 somethings and 40 somethings. He has exactly the mystique that Christian has and the long fingers and avid pianist…of course he would need to go a little shorter with all the hair now but if you look at pics of him from 06 thru 2010…the loose wavy hair, he is a dead ringer for my vision of Christian Grey.
