You’ve introduced me to a new side of life. Thank you so much. I’m in love with Christian Grey.
Christian Bale would be perfect as Christian Grey and Alexis Bledel would be perfect as Anastasia.
Thank you again for that book. I would suggest a book 4 with Christian Grey point of view from his childhood until he meets Anastasia.

  2. avatar crazyabout50 says:

Ok – so….my husband has been asking me who I think “Christian Grey” is and I keep telling him that when I see him, I will know. Walking by a Versace cologne ad for men, I saw Christian Grey for the first time. OMG – this is him. I did a little research and found that his name is Michael Gstoettner. He is an Austrian male model….you have to find out if he is an actor and can speak English because – HE IS HIM!!!! Yummy.

  3. avatar valy says:

thank you for showing us another world that some of us …well just didnt dare touch , and at the same time make it a beautiful love story …I have read the comments that others have made and it is true that the last chapter in book three re : Mr Grey’s perspective can only be a teaser for your next book………
YES …it has to have his side also including the people around him …you have to say that they too would have to be very special people to work for the great man ……..how interesting it would be to also see their perspective………:)
Fantastic book… for those who think that it is a book that is not well written i say humbug to them ….
thank you from the land down under………

    • avatar mandyyoung says:

loved these books, I’m left reeling and wanting more. please tell there will be a fourth book and soon… I want to read Christians perspective and his emotional roller coaster of falling in love with the intoxicating Ana.
Also can’t wait for the film although I don’t know how they will do the book any justice.

  4. avatar leihialani1 says:

I would like to see Scott Elrod cast in the role of Christian Grey alongside Mandy Moore, or Ian Somerhalder as Christian alongside Nina Dobrev as Ana, or even possibly Matt Bomer as Christian alongside Alexis Bledel as Ana…Those are the perfect match possibilities I picture as Christian and Ana…

  5. avatar leihialani1 says:

Ms. James, thank you for entertaining me with your fabulous trilogy “FIFTY SHADES”. I am captivated by Mr. Christian Grey and Miss Anastasia Steele. Your writing skills is exceptionally talented, as I’m sure you know. I can’t get enough of Christian Grey, I am enthralled by his charisma, smoldering charm, and moodiness. I truly hope that you decide to rewrite the trilogy in his point of view, as I can’t get enough of FIFTY SHADES. I’ve read the entire trilogy three times already…

  6. avatar wandaW says:

I just finished book 3 and need more. I didn’t want it to end. Thank you Ms. James. Please give us more. I love the idea of more Mr. Grey perspective. Can’t wait to meet you in LA.

  7. avatar ali says:

I’ve read these books 6 times and compared to some of you that’s not much. I love them and I read a lot but nothing else is interesting me at this moment. I would love to read more of Christians point of view. Thank you Ms. James.
A great love story, reminds me of the feelings I had when I first fell in love. Thank you Ms. James for waking my passion.

  8. avatar missya says:

Thank you for writing a great story! I would really like to see William Levy play the role of Christian Grey!!!

  9. avatar Cynthia51 says:

I love your books and so hope you create a 4th, 5th edition and more. I read the series in four days and then went back to re-read, which was even better. The story line was captivating and the romance in the end was charming. Thank you for putting this series together. Please consider continuing. You have a true fan.

  10. avatar yashymarie says:

Yes please I also hope there a book 4 ….I just finished my 3rd book and Im already missing to read more….I hope there more to this story cause I super loved it…..I’m really looking toward to read more about cristian thoughts…I think I will start reading them all over again

  11. avatar totithurbs says:

    Christian: Robert Pattinson
    Anastasia: Kristen Stewart
This is the only book/movie than can bring them back toguether!

  12. avatar tiddles79 says:

Please, please, please rewrite the series from Christian’s point of view! Everyone I know is begging for this!!! And you should totally cast ARMIE HAMMER as Christian Grey!!! His eyes, his voice, his body…PERFECT!!! :-)

  13. avatar joline says:

im in love with these books i thnk in the depths of herself every woman is looking for her own christian grey. please write a fourth and come to nz for a book signing u r very popular.

  14. avatar Angeleyes13 says:

Great books, I LOVE THEM! I have reread them 3 times! Please write some more! I am obsessed with Christian and Anastasia. I want to know where they are going from here. PLEASE make a sequel or 2 or 3…

  15. avatar HRWCurls3 says:

PLEASE write more Fifty Shades, I can’t wait! I couldn’t put them down!

  16. avatar HRWCurls3 says:

All the Fifty Shades books were amazing, I was consumed with them all & my husband thank’s you too!!

  17. avatar Bubbles says:

Whow finsihed all 3 books in 4 days. Could not put it down.Loved Mr Grey point of view too. Thank you EL James. Please write another 3.

  18. avatar lelabean says:

I need more of Fifty…please number 4 and more!

  19. avatar kpop38 says:

I don’t know about anyone else that is truly ADDICTED to this trilogy, but I hear songs and think that they should be in the movie. Has anyone heard Kelly Clarkson’s “Dark Side.” It could be a theme song!! I hope the movie stays true to the books. Wouldn’t it be cool if they had a contest to have some of the fans be an advisory committee for the movie?? I would so be there in a heartbeat!

  20. avatar eadzy says:

Definitely need more meeting 50 shades! Keep writing it is intoxicating!

  21. avatar vicki says:

I decided to see what all the fuss was about with this “Fifty Shades” series and boy am I glad I did!!
I can’t remember the last time I committed something solely to myself, these books made me do that!
I was so hooked that I read all three books in one week!!
The family was neglected fed on the the quickest food possible, Hot dogs, eggs, mac and cheese! No washing done! lol
They where getting really fed up of my unusual disinterest and limited availability for them and I found myself sneeking off for peace and quiet!
The whirl wind romance, excitement and anticipation were well worth the late night (or should I say Early Dawn!) reading.
I felt extremely satified and shocked at how much I had enjoyed this new genre ( for me) and igniting my imagination again. Thank You E L James!
I certainly hope that you do write the series again from Christain Greys perspective as from those teasing last pages I think it could well and truely be eye opening, heart warming and extremely funny!
Lets just say Christian Grey and the Fifty shades series seems to have brought so many women together in discussion and laughter and may well have ignited that lost spark in many relationships lol!
‘Put the chicken in the Fridge!” Now brings a whole new meaning to mind lol .
    Thanks again x

    • avatar eadzy says:

You took the words right out of my mouth!!

    • avatar tiddles79 says:

LOL I did the same thing! My family thought I was on strike last week. I made hot dogs, sandwiches, even let them eat ceral one night just so I could keep reading. Then made the mistake of taking my book to work…I sat at my desk and read as my coworkers giggled and covered for me for 3 days!

  22. avatar totithurbs says:

Ryan Gosling!!! Hes is the perfect Christian. Please watch Stupid Crazy Love and The Notebook, he is the perfect person to create Fifty. He is beutiful but I think his personality and his dominating and leadership attributes is what makes him the one for the role.

In the Notebook his is jealous, obsessed with her, they are always fighting, all key points for this story. And in Stupid Crazy Love he is a womanizer who successfully beds women each night and changes for the love of his co star Emma Stone.

  23. avatar callaba000 says:

EL please come to Sydney, Australia. We often miss out and I would love to hear you talk about the books and your inspirations and future plans. May I ask your opinion on whom you see as Christian and Anastasia? Surely you have an image of an actor like most of your readers.

  24. avatar diva1432 says:

I have enjoyed the series so very much. I got to the very end of Freed with Christians character and thought maybe you could write all three in Christians perspective.

    • avatar diva1432 says:

I would also like to say that I borrowed the first book and bought the series at Target half way through it. I also would like to see you in Texas. I too hope there are more books. Especially from Christian’s POV. thanks.

  25. avatar catherineh says:

please reply to say if there will be more, like the others, I feel it’s not finished I too loved Christians side of view, i read them in a week….I’m thinking of re-reading them but I don’t think my kids would forgive me for abandoning them again. I even find myself dreaming about it…so I beg of you to continue the story

  26. avatar m10312 says:

I have just finished ready your trilogy of Fifty Shades of Grey. I am an avid reader since elementary school, but I have never read anything like your books. I know you have heard this multiple times but I am such a fan that I had to express this to you.
Your writing is so fantastic that there is not one boring sentence in the trilogy. I could not put your books down.
I am looking forward to reading more. Please do continue writing, since you have a enormous fan base and we are all waiting for more.
    Thank you for listening:

Is Australia on your list of places to tour and if so I hope you come to the Gold Coast.

I am almost finished with book 3 and have not been able to put them down. Besides all the great sex details this is a beautiful love story of two opposites coming together and excepting each other for who they are. Brilliantly written can’t wait to see what you will write next. I think Christian should be played by Ryan Rynold’s.

  28. avatar shari50s says:

I just wanted to say how much I love your books read two and on the last going slow cause dont want it to end :) . Thanks for some lovely dreams Shari

  29. avatar jillechille says:

I really love this novel.I used to read novels before but then I stopped but when I read this…oh my I couln’t stop and finish the 3 books in 1 week.. ut please can you create another one in Christian’s point of view. And also Mia Grey’s story..I love her character as well..Good Job!!!

  30. avatar mireillewalker says:

Not normally my kind of book, but after reading all the hype over them i relented and bought all 3 books planning on saving them for my holiday in September, but i decided to read just the first book and save the rest, unfortunatly I found i couldn’t leave them alone and read all 3 in just 4days…i was amazed at the most heart stopping, emotion provoking love story that was unfolding….I laughed and cryed with Ana and found my self feeling her pain and love for the very complicated Mr Gray….I impore you to please write the final book on Christians point of view, i have so many questions on his feelings and emotions for Ana, that leaves me wanting more and more….thank you for writing these books, i have found a new and gifted author to add to my collection xx

  31. avatar mezza25 says:

love the books read all with in a week hope you more books about christian & ana need read more about them

  32. avatar dlytefulgrey says:

MICHAEL FASSBENDER… that is all GOOGLE him and MR GREY you will find :-) took me three days to read the trilogy and i am utterly LOST without it PLEASE keep writing from Mr. Greys perspective…..

  33. avatar Perkswife says:

I am addicted and feel that I have to have more of Christen and Ana. My Mr. Grey is the smoldering handsome Olivier Martinez. Please google him. Oliver is dark, mysterious, sexy, playful, drop dead…stop in your tracks gorgous.I could imagine him in a white shirt, with the grey slacks hanging on his hips…oh my.

  34. avatar Amy Grey says:

LOVED the trilogy. I started Fifty shades of grey on the Tuesday and was so addicted, I finished Fifty shades Freed on the Sunday. I already feel lost without Mr Grey in my life. I would reaaly like the trilogy to be brought back out concentrating on Christian’s point of view. Once i finished reading ‘meet fifty shades’ at the end of book 3, i felt like i was left hanging and I NEED to know more. I loved the fact I was starting the story again and loved it and I would love to know Christian even better :) xx

  35. avatar missy623 says:

I LOVE these books! I could not put them down! I had to remind myself that they weren’t real people! I really hope you write another book, I am completely obsessed! You are such a great writer please don’t stop writing fifty shades! I love the greys. Thank you!!!

  36. avatar kimmy212121 says:

Really need a book 4 as i so miss Mr Grey and the love he and Ana share.
I would like to hear about his growing up and his views on himself as he got mixed up with BDSM and i also would like to hear about Ana and the children

  37. avatar franwilsonturner says:

LOVED these books please write from Christian’s point of view as you left us hanging at the end of Freed. Would love to hear his thoughts throughout the trilogy. I couldn’t put these down they were so captivating and left me wanting to read more!

  38. avatar R M Plumey says:

I have to say…I could NOT put these books down!! The books left me wanting..MORE. I was almost feeling lost after I was done reading them because I wanted to know more of Christian and Ana’s relationship. I am just hoping for a fourth book!!! The movie is something that will be as big of a hit as the books have been.

I was recently in Las Vegas on vacation and almost every other person on the pool deck was reading one of the three books. The trilogy was a big topic of discussion amongst the guests around the pool, both men and women. It is amazing to see just how many people have been so taken by the story of Mr. Grey and Anastasia Steele. Just absolutely can’t say enough about the books!!!!

  39. avatar shell16 says:

Best book I have ever read. Please please write another one!

  40. avatar ressepbc69 says:

I loved this trilogy love story; I would love it more if I could read from Christian point of view. Please, Please, Please write a trilogy from Christian’s perspective. It would be very interesting to read how his emotions got the better of him and how he truly felt and coped with his feelings.

  41. avatar amelia44 says:

Well, I have read all three. I have always enjoyed a great romance story. Always. These books have truly amazed me as a reader. I don’t think I have ever read anything that has caused me to think about the character and their actions on a constant basis. You would think after finishing all three books I would be free. Well I am not! I am wondering if I will ever be able to read another book. They will all pale in comparison. Now, I do have some favorite scenes which to me just jump off the page.
Jumping off Page Scenes for ME!
    1. Anna has just kneed Jack! Yes! And now she is running out of the building and I believe almost fainting. Christian and the body guard are coming quickly to her. She will NOT get in the car. Christian is so MAD! Furious with herrrr! I felt it so completely.
    2. Of course when he leaves her after discovering she is with child. HE really blows it. I once again had no problem feeling his anger. Wow!
Now, I understand him and clearly get him! I loved the post writing of how things were for him and what he was thinking during his first meeting with Ana. Totally thought everything was dead on RIGHT!
I am very sad I finished the book. I would love to see these characters in other books. I am sure you could brainstorm and place different obstacles in their path to over come.
I am sure 50 Shades is NOT an easy man to live with and I am sure Ana continues to find herself in different situations dealing with his anger.
I want to thank you for writing this book. I am waiting for something else. Truly thank you for this wonderful present you have given to me. I look forward to reading more.

  42. avatar jcutler12 says:

I, as well, am going through withdrawal after having finished your books in 3 days. Only after I read the sneak peak into Christians head, did I realize that the story really needs to be heard from his point as well. I hope you will do at least a novella of Christian’s view for the first book. I think I’m much more interested in how he came to let Ana in. Also, I really hope this can be made into movies!

  43. avatar robynand119 says:

Excellent display of love, lust and physical connection. I can remember those feelings when I first met my husband…thank you for bringing it back and giving me some thoughts to bring to my bedroom :)

I want more after reading all 3 in just 6 days…

  44. avatar totithurbs says:

I would have loved to read more about Christian’s point of view!!! What was he thinking when she called him drunk and slept over at the hotel that same night, or their first kiss and the first time together. PLease write another book with his side of their most special moments.

  45. avatar cheryld3 says:

Loved the books, I’m one of those people that reads a book and finds themselves 15 pages in and couldn’t tell you anything that I just read. That makes me go back and reread the pages over. That didn’t happen to me with these books, I read all of them within a week. I too would love to read more from Christian’s perspective. What a great love story! From the moment I started reading, Christian Grey kept being visualized in my head that is when I realized who he reminded me of. E J Dimera (James Scott) on Days of Our Lives. Go ahead ladies google him if you don’t know who he is, his voice and demeanor on the show is 100% Christian Grey! He would make a perfect Christian Grey!

  46. avatar ritzrita says:

Please continue with this story line – loved the books – read them twice.

  47. avatar alrezendes says:

I am an avid book reader. I cannot put into words how wonderful your books are. I am almost finished with Fifty Shades Freed and have read all three books within one week. I could not put these books down. They somehow seem to take over your mind. Good distraction from work and the ‘real’ world. Please keep on writing. You are one of the best authors around.

  48. avatar cheryls says:

I agree with everyone else who has written. Please continue with this story. Cannot get enough of Christian and Ana’s lives. I would love to see what was really going through Christians mind as well. Continue with their story and the stories of his family. There is so much more to know. I couldn’t put the books down read all three in 9 days and am starting them all over again. I’ve laughed, cried and gasped at times!! Great job please keep it coming.

  49. avatar Fariyal says:

Oh and I thought I was the only one that was sad after the final book. I feel like the characters are my friends and I want the story to go on and on , LOL!!! I absolutely loved and enjoyed it. Can’t wait to see what you write next. Will love to see a continuation of Fifty Shades.

  50. avatar Jue says:

My first language is French. I’m from Quebec, Canada. I’ve tried several times to read book in English but it was hard for me to follow the story. But, with your books, it was very easy and I read the 3 books in 5 days… I blushed, I laughed, I cried, I went through every emotion and now I can wait to read more of your book… hope will have another book with Mr. and Mrs. Grey. Thank you very much for the intensity of the love story it was.
