When will the book tour be coming to Portland OR or Vancouver WA?
Having grown up in the Montesano and Seattle areas and now living in Portland I was so much more intrigued and felt a connection as I have been to so many of the places in the story.
I just finished the trilogy today. Loved all the books. Loved the characters. As Ana said, “I want more.” Please!

  2. avatar kwatson45 says:

I’m happy to hear others were as obsessed as I was! I just couldn’t put them down and read all three in a week! WOrds can’t express how much I want there to be…more. Amazing and inspiring work. THank you!

  3. avatar K says:

Amazing! I Have the FSS! I love the soundtrack list…….how about a wine and beverage list! I would out and buy every bottle!

  4. avatar mary rizos says:

Hi all from Melbourne Australia. My goodness MRS James what have you done? When i finished reading the books i thought i was being silly by feeling flat. But no, from what i have read many feel the same. Being over this side of the world i feel away from the action, i wish you could come here to sign your books. I feel so flat and being winter here now doesn’t help. Please continue with writing using Christian and Ana. Can you please give out any hints, so we have something to look forward to? Thank you again and congratulations xxxxx

A colleague at my work place wouldn’t stop talking abut the book…I finally decided to read it thinking to myself that I’ll only read a few chapters, yeah right! ! I couldn’t put the book down. Within two weeks I ha read all three books. Then i to went through Mr. grey withdrawal and I reread all three books! have fallen in love with Christian Grey. Love, love all three books
I agree with all of you , a book from Christian’s point if view would be great. Can’t wait for future books.

OMG OMG OMG! I love these characters, Christian is to die for! and Anastisia is fantastic! You did such a fabulous work I will continue reading whatever you put out Ms James. it was the best time of my reading life thank you so much!

  6. avatar Chasity says:

Mrs. James … You have taken the ordinary to extraordinary!
    BRAVO

Bradley Cooper, need we think more?

  7. avatar jadedunn says:

All the wonderful words that describe these books have already been said. I admit I am a Fifty Shades addict. I just need to know if the US book tour will come to Texas. My mental image of Christian Grey is Benedict Cumberbatch.

  8. avatar berniesbb says:

I love these books and am going through Christian withdrawal! Please, please say you are doing a book tour in the UK and please include the North East?! I personally would love to see Ian Somerhalder play Grey. He has the piercing blue eyes, chizeled face and sexy, filthy smile! I also think Zooey Deschanel
would be perfect for Ana, blue eyes almost too big for her face, fresh, young and looks impressionable and innocent but could pack a punch! Xxx

  9. avatar tgsaidit says:

I can’t seem to focus on any of the books I’ve picked up since reading this series. I’ve actually started re-reading them (obsessed much).

Seriously, my friends call it the FSS (Fifty Shades Syndrome). Perhaps I should try and find Dr. Flynn lol.

Oh Mrs. James can’t you see we’re all going mad? I’ve actually considered becoming a brunette and relocating to Seattle rofl.

I’m certain that you will sell just as many if not more books re-writing them from Christian’s perspective.

Until then, what will I do without my fifty shades?…ok our fifty shades.

    -Laters

    • avatar gelastyle says:

FSS, clever! Agree with everything you said here with the re-reading and relocating haha <3

      fellow FSS Grey Lover <3

    • avatar srbrock says:

I totally agree. Just the other day I almost called someone Christian… grr I haven’t been this obsessed with a book series sence Twilight.

I wanted to go to Seattle before and now I want to go there so much more lol I’m a brunette… Maybe fifty shades will find me?

  10. avatar nualaj2 says:

I would love to read more from Christians perspective…. read the trilogy in 2 days could not put it down!! amazing, and not just for the erotic part, the story just held my attention! Ian somerhalder is definetly Christian for me… intrigued how they would make this a film, but would be bitterly disappointed if they water it down

  11. avatar lauren80oct says:

I am having withdrawals I need more. I am getting ready to start them all over again because I just cannot get into the book I am reading…. Please Please Please Write more

  12. avatar pagonz12 says:

i love these books as well, i can’t put them down! i offten feel guilty and neglecting my family :/ but…the seduction is what us women need! thnx for bringing the spark in my spirit Mr.Grey!

  13. avatar Marissa says:

I love these books i read the first in under a week i think emmy rossum should play miss steele and ian somerhalder for mr grey….who i love!

i think it would really work as a movie very basic instinct, i would love for you to try and convert it into a play it reminds me of Anthony Neilsons Censor!

LOVE LOVE LOVE your work is the best of its kind!

  14. avatar Lupe says:

I would love to see Katherine Heigl as Anastasia! She’s young, beautiful, clumsy, sexy, etc. Christian could be played by Edward Burns or Eric Winter! I’m dying to get these books in hardcover so they can last a lifetime!

  15. avatar Maci says:

Hi Ms. James! I fell in love with your trilogy and just noticed that I missed you in New York City. I hope you can come back to New York City on your book tour. It would mean the world to me. No book has ever gotten to me like this and made me so emotional. This series was definitely a coping mechanism for me while my boyfriend and I broke up, and now that I finished your books, I’m back in reality. You are truly an amazing author!

  16. avatar crystalcd81 says:

Holy fuck. Please E.L James please publish more books. I read all three of these in 4 and 1/2 days and now I am so depressed that there will be no more Mr. and Mrs. Grey. I was living my life vicariously though those books. Now… ugh. I definitely need a Fifty Shades Anonymous group. I could cry!

  17. avatar lauren80oct says:

I lovers these books… I was off work for a weekend and finished the last one today. I also feel at a loss after reading the beginning of fifty shades of grey from Christians view point and now would love to read all of the books in whole in his point. I want to know his struggle when Ana walked out and how he felt when other things happened( don’t want to give things away since some have not read all of them). I want to know what he thinks when Ana gets mad at Christian. I repeate I love these books and I want more

  18. avatar highfield52 says:

I love these books, I am currently half way through number 2 and I love Christian, I think honestly the character to play Christian should be Matthew Bomer…..

  19. avatar Jeank says:

Please, write more soon!!!!! I know I’m in the middle of the 2nd book but I can’t hardly stand putting down the book. It drives me crazy. My life is consumed by these books, which may not be good, but I am enjoying them so much. They just draw you in and you want more and can’t wait to see what happens next. Amazing!

  20. avatar Darlene says:

I feel much the same as others, truly at a loss without having another one to read. I went through them in less than a week and stayed up late in the evenings and woke up “wanting more” :-) each morning. I don’t know where to look for my next book and I’m hoping for more installments over time. Will surely start over and read them again.
I saw someone say that you posted a song list and I’d love to find that! Each mention had me going to Pandora and signing on for someone new I’d forgotten about like Chris Isaacs/Wicked Games.
It’s so interesting to see these books listed as #1, #2 and #3 of the top downloaded Kindle books, have Costco carry more of these book than ANY other, see B&N put them front and center AT the Customer Service desk because so many people are asking for them, etc. But then it’s also interesting to hear that some won’t admit to reading them, mmmm. Must say something about their inner goddess!
I’ve signed in for updates so I won’t miss anything!

  21. avatar chefaw says:

I loved the books and I feel in love with Christian and he was just the person that i would love to have in my life. Ana was stronger than she thought she was just great and was there for everyone it was an excellent read. My friends around me have all ordered the trilogy and have all read the books in a matter of a few days and was amazed at the writing style you had. We are all looking forward to the next books you have in store for future. Good luck to you.

  22. avatar kadarina81710 says:

@ S ^^ I did the exact same thing while listening to my Pandora radio today at work!! I couldn’t help but listen to the lyrics and feel the emotions in the music and think of how fitting they would be for parts of the book! And with music being such an important part of Christian and Ana’s relationship it made me smile :-) I am currently finished with books 1 and 2 and I refuse to start book 3 as it rest on my night stand because I am avoiding the hang over I will feel when it is all done! We all know how Christian feels about alcohol lol I am glad there are so many other fans out there!

  23. avatar S says:

I so loved this story! I am going through withdrawl after finishing number three. I might read them again to get my fix! lol I can’t wait for more. I would also love a mivie, and more books, but in Christian’s perspective (like fifty shades of Christian). I actually find myself hearing sounds on the radio and thinking to myself that it would be great in the movie at certain times (like when they first met, or were dancing, etc.)

  24. avatar Jenniferashley474 says:

Oh my goodness.. I just finished the series and absolutely LOVED it. I was salivating at the end when it switched to Christian’s perspective. Please, please, PLEASE write a book from his side. ;) It’s so tantalizing.

  25. avatar magicfngrz says:

I just finished reading Book 3 and have to reread the series and really savor it now that I know the story. Enjoying all the nuances that I missed the first time because I was reading so quickly! Can’t wait for the next installment!

  26. avatar boys296 says:

Just finished reading all 3 books. I am hungry for more Christian and Anastasia. I don’t feel that any other books I read can compare to this. They will all be just “books”. This story will stay with me for a long time. I am actually reading it again. Please write more about the two of them and also a movie!

  27. avatar jmmckee32 says:

Holy s***, I f***ing love these books. lol. I would looove to see these turned into a movie with Ryan Gosling as Mr. Grey! Hmm come to think of it Rachel McAdams would make a great Anastasia Steele. The Notebook all over again!!!!!

  28. avatar Canciss Ford says:

More Christian PLEASE!!! – I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the series. I am longing for more of Christian Grey! Thank you for the extras in Book 3. I would love to read more with Christian and Ana. I have told all my friends to read the book! If you ever come back to the U.S. I will be there, I am so upset I missed the April 30th book tour in Chicago!

  29. avatar Ruffii says:

I couldn’t put the books down. Incredible!! It didn’t take me long to read these books. It overtook me completely. Books are exciting and enticing! I can’t wait to read your next book(s)! Hope you continue the story of Christian and Ana!

  30. avatar ash says:

Just got done reading the first book and WOW. I loved it. I actually left work early these past 3 days just to come home and read it. I have the next two books and cant wait to start reading them but I dont want to read to fast-I want them to last forever. I want more books like this! I am hooked!

  31. avatar V.Graves says:

I am new (really new) to ready books that don’t have an association to Sports. It took me a week n a half to read these books. I have my co-worker, friends, and sister reading these books now!!!! MY HUSBAND LOVES THE RESULTS of me reading these books!!! They are awesome, beautiful, enlighting, enticing, sex as hell, and great for your love life ;) I want more!!!!!!

  32. avatar modella3 says:

I feel at a loss now that I have finished reading Fifty Shades Freed. I so hope that you give us more of this story like a view into Mr.Grey’s mind during the trilogy! What a fascinating trilogy that could turn into! I can not wait to read your next books!!!

Thank You for such a fantastic read!!!

  33. avatar DM says:

I really hope you visit South-East Michigan!!! (Christian is from Detroit) We would love to meet you and get a few books signed!!!! HUUGGSSS DM

  34. avatar magicfngrz says:

Oh and Channing Tatum and Chris Pine, but Chris Hemsworth would be number 1 choice! :)

  35. avatar magicfngrz says:

Thank you for writing such a captivating story! I just read the 1st two books in 3 days! Friends and I were thinking who would be a perfect Christian Grey and I said Chris Hemsworth since I just saw him as Thor in the Avengers…I see someone else had the same idea in an earlier post. Can’t wait to read more from you! <3

  36. avatar texasgirl says:

I LOVED Fifty Shades of Grey. I’m starting the second book today. I am usually not a reader but these books have totally changed my mind. It’s amazing how you can get so lost in a good story. Hope you can make it to TX someday. :)

  37. avatar daneatreia says:

I would really love if you came to Portland, Oregon on your book tour! That would be AMAZING! I am pretty sure the Heathmen Hotel would love to host you!

  38. avatar alnbarros says:

I missed your visit in DC, but finished the 3 books in 7 days. Fascinated is not even half of what I fel by reading them. I think every husband should read them too. Congratulations in such a great history. I’m in love.

  39. avatar clsouthwood says:

Could not put down these books! Thank you for posting the list of songs… should consider selling the soundtracks. Can’t wait for the movie and any other books you write!!

  40. avatar ediedesouza says:

After the first few pages of the first book, I ordered the other 2 for my iPad. It was a very emotional and really enjoyable read for me. I. Can. Not. Wait. For. The. Next. One! Thanks for the last 2 chapters in book 3, what a wonderful bonus you gave us. Love you.

  41. avatar c_16_barrios says:

I would also love to read the book from Christians prospective… I want to put in my vote of Chris Evans to plan Christian if there really is a movie being picked up… which I’m completely and utterly hoping there is one in the works.

  42. avatar daisy0711 says:

Totally agree with the above statements- I would love to see the books written fom Christian’s view. :) Loved all 3 of them!

  43. avatar bcolon says:

I totally agree with Dennis ^ I would love to read from Christian’s prospective. I kept me wanting more.
Fell in love with the series and my husband too.

  44. avatar nsexton says:

I just read all 3 books over the weekend, I stayed up until 5:30 this morning reading Fifty Shades Freed, and can I just say, I feel at a LOSS now that I’ve finished..so intense, romantic, and full of HEATED PASSION! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Christians version of the books if you ever get around to it :) awesome love story <3

    • avatar luvmesomgrey says:

I thought I was the only feeling loss and saness when I finished the books. I miss Christain and Anastaia already boo hoo

    • avatar Chofeld says:

I read them in one weekend too…these books exhausted me…i cried, I laughed, I have never had a book make me feel this way. I would love to see books written in Christian’s point of view, but I hope they are the continuation of the Trilogy because I really am left wanting MORE! I really want to see how the kids fit into their LIFESTYLE :)

  45. avatar livyb says:

I am so sad that I missed your tour. I am hoping that you come around again so that I can meet you. I love your book and love that it portrays a women who essentially has more control than a man. I can’t wait for me the movie and will be there with waiting in line. I also wanted to say that I’m really hoping you write a book from the view of Christian. It would be great. As a mother of two your book which my husband has read has made him think more about what a women wants in the bedroom. Thanks again and can’t wait for the movie.

  46. avatar Denni says:

Just finished and LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about Fifty Shades! Would you ever consider writing these from Christian’s prospecive i.e “Shades of Christian” at the end of Freed? Reading that gave me a whole new outlook on him and his thoughts during his moments in the books. I would pre-order them now!!!

    • avatar nsexton says:

i didn’t even see this until after i left my comment. i SO AGREE! amazing books, COULD NOT put them down.

    • avatar beatriz13 says:

      Denni,

I definitely had the same thoughts about the end of the 3rd book “Fifty shades freed”. I would really love and I’m sure I can speak for most of the readers that we want another book with Anastasia and Christian. Perhaps this time with Christian’s perspective because I want to really know what drove him to see her (Anastasia) again. It’s clear to see that Christian was feeling the same way Anastasia was feeling about him because the same “tingly” sensations Ana was feeling he was feeling too. Perhaps he didn’t see the full picture yet but he wanted her the moment he saw her. Want I really want to know is how he felt when Ana left him in the first book. I want to see his feelings/thoughts about being abandoned by someone that obviously captured his heart (even though he hasn’t noticed it yet). I am completely in love with the book E.L. James has written. Her books will stay with me forever!

Please, please, please, write another book or two :) about this enchanting story about two completely people finding their differences and making it work.

      Sincerely yours,

      Beatriz

      • avatar Lauren says:

I couldn’t agree more with everything that was said above. I read all 3 books in less than two weeks. I couldn’t put them down. It was like I was a part of Christian and Ana’s life( sounds crazy I know). The entire story played out like a movie in front of me! EL James is an amazing author, she should be very proud of herself! As for another book, I could only pray that she writes at least 10 more :) all about Christian and Ana of course! I felt a sense of attachment to her characters that I haven’t felt in many other romance novels. I love books and read all the time, however nothing compares to the Fifty Shades trilogy. I would love to see a book in Christian’s perspective. At the end of the 3rd book Shades of Christian had me very intrigued and yearning to read more! I hope EL James decides to write a story from the view of Christian! I would pre order NOW!

I hope there is a continuation to the story, so I can find out what happens with Christian and Ana’s “blip #2″ ! It’s amazing how words can pull you into a book and transform you to a whole new world!

If there is any chance of a movie in the near future I think Ian somerhalder would make an excellent Chritian!

        L <3

        • avatar S says:

I soooo agree! I am going through withdrawl after finishing book #3. I might read them again, like so many other have. I would also love a movie, many more books in Ana’a perspective and of Christiona’s. I loved the end, where it gave you a seek peak at his perspective! I can’t get enough of this story! It actually brought my to tears at certain points. No other book has ever captured my attention and emotion like these!

          • avatar Jeank says:

I agree-Lauren and S. I am only on book 2 but haven’t read any books this fast. I love reading them and can’t wait to read after I have to put it down. I feel close to Ana and Chritian also. Like it’s so real and I want more! I really do hope EL James writes more. Not sure what I will do at the end of book 3. They are so exciting and a good story. There are parts that bring tears to my eyes. IV worked with children who have been abused.
I’m so glad I have found these books and this site. To hear how others feel while reading the books. They are amazing:)

          • avatar vixxie says:

I agree with everything said above.. I felt so close to ana and christian and would love a life like that .. I find myself mopey now that i am done and lost.. Please make more of this story line lots more…i need more i am having withdrawlas..

          • avatar ElsieSocolov says:

I hope there will be more books, too! I have read them twice now & will read them again & again, I’m sure! I’m wearing my Nook out! LOL

        • avatar luvmesomgrey says:

I thought I was the only person who felt like I was obssessed with reading each word. I loved this trilogy so much and EL James please write in the Christians perspective I would be ecstatic if it happens, oh and the move is already in IMDB so Ithink they are putting it togther

          • avatar totallyhooked13 says:

I never thought of myself as a big reader…until this trilogy. I finished it quicker than some of my “speed reader” friends! LOL! It’s very addicting. You totally get caught up in Christian and Ana’s lives, and you grow to love everything about them. I, too, would love to read MORE about them. After reading the end of book 3, thru Christian’s eyes, I felt the same about wanting more books, but thru his perspective. And here I thought I came up with an amazing new trilogy on my own…but everyone feels the same. LOL!! We need the next trilogy…”Fifty Shades- His side of the story”. E L James..you are an amazing writer!! You are extremely gifted and should continue to write. I’m so impressed that this “Fifty Shades” is your first baby or babies. I love your first person view in the books. I have tried reading other books that are third person, and compared to your books, I cannot gain interest. We definitely need more Christian and Ana. There are MANY followers that will read more about them…this could be HUGE for you..as well as for us. I’m in! :O)

        • avatar Monica says:

Completely agree with Lauren! Please write more and in Christians perspective! I would buy/pre-order in a heartbeat. As it stands I’m dying to know more about the movie release. And find myself utterly consumed by these characters…can’t wait! Until then I will be re-reading this story. Oh and please add Dallas to the book your!

ps. Ian “Smolderhalder” has my vote :)

        • avatar cristy karras says:

I just finished reading all 3 books(all three in 6 days. I just couldn’t put them done.
Got annoyed when had to stop to fall sleep.
Like you I have never read something that my emotions were felt at the same time and at the exactly same levels at the characters were feeling.I thought my heart was going to stop when Christian disappeared.I am glad that I looked for her website because I can see that most people feel the same way I do. I am seriously sad that the book is over, t a point of dropping tears. I feel empty like I am morning the loss of something or someone really important.Like you I also feel as if they were real people and because I could feel what they were feeling I was part of tehir lives some how. I can only hope that she comes out with continuation of this revolutionary beautiful and profound novel.Never…never felt this way abou fiction character before. Her talent(E.L.James), her creativity, imagination and love for these characters must…must…must…have left part of her with a sense of emptiness, sadness…we as readers do imagine her that created.Thank you so much for sharing this amazing talent and ability to show us in such perspective how love, feeling and reaction and consequences can be felt is so many ways.

        • avatar Angel84dsj says:

Haha lucky for me I skipped your post since I havent reached book 3 and didnt want anything ruined, but catching Ian’s name I wanted to let you know that I completely agree..lol

        • avatar kim chan says:

I totally agree with both of the above comments. I am reading the trilogy for the second time. I can’t believe this my self, but I missed Christian and had to re-read the books jsut ot be close to him. I also like Anna, they make such an adorable couple. I know it is not real, but we can dream can’t we? I know a movie is in the making and I think that Alex Pettyfer would make a great Christian. Some one comment and said that Christian is portrayed as troubled and dark. Yes, he is but you have to remember tha Ana also describes him as sometimes looking like a little child, Alex has that sex, innocent look about him. I also thank that Emmy Rossum would be good for the part of Anna.

You have taken every word right out of my mouth,I totally agree with you.I would love for her to write Christians views and his feelings for Anastasia.you said everything that I wanted to say. I have read the trilogy three times in a row now and honestly its just as exciting as the first time I read them. I have never read a book more than once, but this trilogy has me totally smitten.not to mention it has improved my sex life just a bit.My husband sure isn’t complaining. I will keep these books forever! :o p

        • avatar totallysmitten says:

I also wanted to add that Chris Hemsworth would make an extremely hot Christian Grey!

        • avatar totallyhooked13 says:

LOL!! My husband isn’t complaining either..that’s for sure!! I just started book 1 over and the excitement and suspense never dies off. My sex life has improved as well. Women are so different than men, I think this books helps us to be “in the mood” or think about sex more often, which helps our hubbies for sure. It’s just great to live thru that with the characters; the passion and experimenting. Though…I don’t know of any woman’s body who actually responds like Ana’s..and that often. LOL!!

          • avatar dominitrix121 says:

I know exactly what you mean, hooked! I myself have become very aroused and to put it bluntly..HOTTT..when reading all of the really sexy steamy and kinky parts of this book..
this book really did wake up my libido!…I have found myself thinking more about sex since I started this first book than I have while reading any other book!…

I find myself to be feeling hornier more often now even thinking about this book!LOL
It may be outrageous and very graphic …but at the same time …it really is soooo HOT! :-D

      • avatar atrembly says:

I wholeheartedly agree that three entire books from Christian’s perceptive that paralleled all events in the first three would be wonderful! Please consider writing entire books that build on the final section of Fifty Freed.

    • avatar colombian says:

I also LOVE the books!!!! read them in less than a week and re-read them right after!!! I would also more than love a book from Christian’s prospective… PLEASE!!!!

    • avatar luvmesomgrey says:

I really hope you come to Australia(Brisbane) for a book tour!! I have never really liked reading till I came across Fifty Shades, thank you for opening my mind to the wonderful world of imagination, lust and love. L

First of all, I am a huge fan of the trilogy! It is by the far the best thing I have ever read. I really appreciate your work. I also wanted to put in my vote for Chris Hemsworth to play the part of Christian should you accept a movie proposal! Thank you again for such an entertaining piece of literature.

    • avatar Christina says:

I think that Ian Somerhalder would be a GREAT Christian and Emma Roberts for Miss. Steel.

    • avatar nsexton says:

hmm, Chris Hemsworth..i could definitely see him as Christian. indecent exposure a must! no R ratings!!

    • avatar vigretz says:

I was watching Kelly today and Chris Hemsworth was on and the first thing I thought of was…he would make a really good Christian Grey! I like how you think ;)

      • avatar nina t.y says:

OMG, I barely found this site 5 minutes ago and my mouth freakin dropped when I saw the Chris Hemsworth comments! I was saying all week since Snow White and the Huntsman came out that Hemsworth is PERFECT to play Christian!! I heard a rumor that Rob Pattinson might but he would not do Christian justice.

      • avatar jess1ca says:

I love the series!!!! Ian and Chris are both really hot men although the first actor to cross my mind to play Christian was Alexander Skarsgard, but whoever gets the part of Christian I will be the first in line to see that film in my area. I can’t wait….hope they make a movie deal soon!

    • avatar mej4 says:

I can’t post the link here, but google “Armie Hammer”, and the 3rd link is an article about him in Details magazine that I think shows many reasons why he would be an excellent contender to play Christian Grey in the movie. Weird coincidences in the article that make you think of the book too – it talks about him using a “safeword”, he is keenly attentive and appreciative of his wife, etc. Most importantly, he is extremely good-looking and can easily portray the many moods of Grey! Read the article in Details magazine and see what you think!

      • avatar Angelatoppingfromthebottom says:

Yes! Yes! Yes! I second Armand Hammer. He is a GOD! He has been my pick after much ‘research’. LOL. And I’m still holding my breath with this because the producers set for the movie have produced a movie he was in – The Social Network!!!! It’s all about connections and links in Hollywood, right? Of course, I want the acting to be the priority. My pick for Anastasia is Felicity Jones!!!! Demure beauty with explosive sexual allure!!!

    • avatar cece says:

I would really like to see Eric Dane play Mr. Grey. He would be perfect for the role if he would gain about 10 pounds and get really cut. And for Mrs. Grey I would like Chyler Leigh. (Yes from Greys Anatomy) they have great chemistry and both look the part!! On a different note, I LOVED the books! I read all three in three days!! Couldnt put them down and I cant wait for the movie!

    • avatar TraciNyman says:

I think Ian Somerhalder is too dark. I thought Chris Hemsworth at first too, until I saw Derek Theler! Google him! Exactly what I pictured Christian to look like! I think Rooney Mara for Anastasia!

      • avatar bluediva96 says:

Totally agree about Rooney Mara for Anatasia, but i was thinking more Christian Bale for Mr Grey – electric combination!
        Fantastic read

      • avatar ElsieSocolov says:

OMG!!!!!! You are SOOOO right about both Derek Theler & Rooney Mara!!! My friend & I thought Ian Somerhalder would be great because of his gorgeous eyes (the hair was too dark in my opinion, but he could always dye it) but after Googling Derek, I am SOOO on that train! hehehe We weren’t able to figure out a good enough actress to play Anastasia, but since you pointed out Rooney, I have to say that she would be perfect!

I hope they make the movie soon – and hopefully it will be done in three movies, not just rolled into one! ;-)

    • avatar connieamc says:

Great fan of the trilogy! This is the first set of books that I have finished, then gone right back to the beginning and read all three again! Great story and characters. Really loved the end of Fifty: Freed when we get a peek at your next books about Christian and Ana. I want to plug using the song “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence for the first love scene in the Red Room of Pain for Christian and Ana….listen to it and see what you think! Keep up the wonderful work!

    • avatar Ella4497 says:

I totally agree on Chris Hemsworth playing Christian Grey

    • avatar amandas01 says:

I vote Ashley Rickards for Anastasia Steele and Alex Pettyfer for Christian Grey!

    • avatar hrojas says:

Ian Somerhalder as Christian and Alexis Bledel as Anastasia. They would be perfect!!!
I loved the books!!! I have reade them twice and got all my friends and family hooked!!!

    • avatar melc says:

I think Ian Somerhalder and Alexis Bedel suit the roles for Christian and Anastasia
I can’t see Channing Tatum and Emma Roberts acting it..

    • avatar plvv02 says:

I am going to add my 50 cent and say I think Henry Cavill would make an excellent Mr. Gray and I agree that Emma Roberts would make a great Ms. Steel. :o ) Love the books!! I especially enjoyed seeing Mr. Gray’s point of view…would really enjoy reading that version!!!

    • avatar Nikki says:

Yes Yes Yes Yes! Totally agree with you Chris is exactly who.i see in my head when I think of Christian! I still see Emma Watson only because of how week she did in Crazy Stupid Love and I desk she was similar to Sms character when she took on that roll in that movie!
