Anoche terminé de leerme Cincuenta Sombras liberadas, he tardado sólo 6 días en leerme todos los libros, y es que ¡no podía parar! Ahora siento que me falta algo, y sé que son Christian Grey y Anastasia Steele. Ojalá haya un cuarto libro que siga por donde se ha quedado el tercero, que me dejó intrigada con lo que pensó Christian mientras estaban en el Hotel Heathman.
Y, bueno, sólo decir, que me alegro de que haya tenido tanto éxito esta saga porque se la merece, y lo mejor es que la gente se lea los libros antes de ver las películas, y está ocurriendo eso exactamente. Así que, lo único que espero ya, a parte de lo arriba mencionado, es poder tener mi colección de Cincuenta Sombras firmada y dedicada por su autora, un saludo desde España.

I read all three books and really love them, but as a Spanish speaking individual I am somehow disappointed to learn that the translation of the book is 50 sombras when that word means shadows. It should has been 50 gamas (this word meaning shades). I hope you can change it. It is not the same shadows than shades.
I would also so love to hear the story through Christians eyes. I totally love the story as it is but would love to hear what Christian is thinking and feeling.

I think either Jessie Pavelka or Matthew Bomer should be Christian Grey. That’s how I picture him. Not sure about Ana though.

10 minutes ago I finished the first book and I must say I fell absolutely in love with this book. I am sooo excited to pick up the second one and read it. I finished the first one in a day and a half. I have a picture of Christian in my mind, and I love him. I love his sexy, mysterious, and kinky ways. I love that the autor was so out there and blunt about everything. I must ask though, what made you the author come up with such an intense book.. personal experience or what? Anyway I am definately going to share this book with all my friends and highly recommend it to everyone. I heard they might be making a movie.. I really hope they do.. I want to know who will play Christian if they do.. I would die to play Ana’s role so whatever girl they chose, if they make the movie, she is definatley one lucky girl. I also agree there should be books written through Christian’s eyes. Thank you so much for writing such a steamy and exciting book. I am looking forward to reading the next ones. =)
I absolutley love this book. I believe its every womens dreams to meet a man like Christian..even if he is a little disturbed. I really hope another book is in the works. Im on book three and would love to read a fourth book.

I agree with the others. I would love to have more Ana and Christian… This was the best book I have read in years. It made me feel and vision what the characters looked like, where they lived, and most important how they felt through everything (the ups, downs, vanilla sex, kinky sex, etc.) This book is completely fullfilling! I would love to see more of the Darker, from Christians perspective. I felt cheated on some of the details of him and a few important moments.. I would love to have more… I read the first two book in three days..All three in 5 days..I couldn’t put the first two books down! The third was a little slower read for me but now I am left looking for more books like these….
Well done, I finished all 3 books recently and I have to admit I really miss Mr. Grey. I love how the end really demonstrates the growth of the character, so many beautiful messages within on love, commitment, respect, marriage, monogamy, sensuality, etc. What a love story! Congratulations.. can’t wait for the movie and book 4.

I read all three books in English. I am getting them in spanish for my hispanic friends who’ve heard so much about your book. I couldn’t help to suggest perhaps if you would consider Mr. Pedro Almodovar in your quest for the movie version. I am a great admirer of his movies and I truly think his talent can be put to work in these wonderful stories with all the spice, passion, love and definitely erotism !!!

I read all 3 in 8 days, but I still scam though Fifty Shades Darker, that one is my favorit out of the three. I would love for EL to gives us more with Christian point of view. Seeing everything through his eyes. How Exciting that would be!

I’m in withdrawals… I’m reading another book right now and can’t get into it I keep thinking of Christian and Ana and what they would be doing at that moment.
I loved these books. I especially admired how you kept both characters relatable inspite of all the over the top theatrics surrounding them. Have you considered going back and retelling the story from Christian’s persepective for the entire series? It would be amazing to be in his mind as he watches Ana sleep or while he plays the piano in the middle of the night. Please consider it?

Why is the title of the book in Spanish “.. sombras”? “sombras” in Spanish means shade as in being in the shade. The appropriate title should’ve been “Cincuenta colores…” (as in shades of colors) or “Cincuenta gamas..”
De acuerdo! A propósito- los españoles podrían haber traducido el título como “Gris” ya que hay un juego de palabras con el color y su apellido, no crees? Además, está el pintor Juan Gris. Y “shades” sería más bien “tonos” o “matices” no “sombras”, me parece…

I cannot help to compare my experience when I met my beloved, even when of course my intimate encounters were not as extreme as is described in the book but the love history is the same, a young naive woman on her 20s that found her prince far from home and felt complete in love and surrender herself……..great history I am still have the last book left……..but really enjoy it…..best luck and thank you for allow me to left for my man again.

Yo lo veo como sombras siendo diferente personalidades de una persona. No se es mi punto de vista y le cae bien al personaje.
And soon Fifty will be available in Finnish as well! According to Helsinki’s leading newspaper Helsingin Sanomat, the Finnish publishing company Otava has bought the publishing right to the whole trilogy which will come out in Finnish end of this year. Congrats!

I am so happy that this book will be now made into a movie. I really really hope you do pick someone unknown. Look how much it proved better for Twilight. People could relate to them because previously they were not known actors.
I recently visited New York & visited an Irish bar called the playwright. I seen the most handsome barman. I was sitting reading book 2 when the image of Christian came to my table & asked if I was OK for a drink. I almost collapsed. Silly I know but this guy ‘David Mitchell’ is his name. I got speaking to a girl on that night & was cheeky enough to ask about him. He was so mysterious, smouldering but crystilizing blue sparking eyes. She told me he is an Irish actor just plodding along, taking radio & small plays. I was so overjoyed to hear he was an actor because I said if this ever goes to a movie, i am putting this guy forward for the part. He was extremely sweet to me and to everyone that came into the bar too. The ladies all seemed to be whispering about him. I visited Washington as part of my USA tour finale & went to a play called the seafearer. You won’t believe my astonishment when out came this guy, with the physic of Christian, dark hair with a hint of copper going through it, smouldering eyes and an IRISH ACCENT. It was the guy from the bar. I nearly pee’d myself with excitement. I had not and still have not had the courage to go tell him ‘I see you as the tantilizing Mr. Grey’ but I so wish whomever is casting for this does. This guy is my dreamboat & I think many women could fantasize about Mr. bar man forever. Accents don’t matter anymore. How many Irish actors have been main American lead roles. Please don’t pick someone known to us the viewers already. It will take away the magic that you gave us in your book.
